🎾 Summer Tennis Season in Full Swing! ☀️🏆

Week 2 is here, and there's lots happening at the club! A few key highlights:

✅ Fun Fridays every week (10am–3pm) with tennis games & match play for our junior members
✅ Adult Drop-In Doubles & Pickleball every Wednesday at 7pm – free for members, $5 for non-members
✅ Doubles & Singles Leagues underway – still time to join!

🎾 Mount Pearl Open: July 23–27
📣 Our first public tournament of the summer! Open to club members and non-members with competitive and skill-based categories. Don’t miss it!

👕 Wimbledon Week – Come dressed in white during lessons this week!

🙋 Volunteers needed for the Canada Games – help out Aug 15–16 & watch Canada’s top junior players!

Remember Juniors to sign up!

🎾FIRST TOURNAMENT OF THE SEASON!📢

On June 14th-15th, we will be hosting a junior tournament with two events:

-Rookie Tour events are for those new to tennis or new to competing. We use new player friendly tournament formats with a guarantee of 3 matches. All players in Rookie Tour events receive a prize at every event.

-Rising Star events are for our more competitive Under 10 players. Rising Star players receive a prize at their first and fifth events in a season.

Do you still have outstanding membership, league or lesson fees? Staff from the Mount Pearl Tennis Club will be at the Club (8 First St) tomorrow, May 25th, from 5-7pm to accept cash or cheque payments! Credit and debit cards are not accepted.

On June 1st we will be running one match from 8am-10pm. Players signup and are paired up with folks of similar age and skill. We play singles, doubles, and juniors can play too!

Does your child want to try tennis? Come down to the Mount Pearl Tennis Club on June 14th and let them try it out with a coach for FREE.

All necessary equipment will be supplied. Just wear comfortable clothes and footwear and bring water!

Ages 5-10 will be at 9am-1030am and Ages 10-16 will be at 1030am-12pm.
