Last night we ended our season. 💙
We would like to take this last post to first thank our players who went to every game and tried their best, who worked hard all year to make this team, who never gave up even after a loss, who made each other laugh, who coached each other on, who showed up even if they did not want to, who were passionate about the game. Our team appreciates each one of you, as each one of you brought something different to this team, which made us whole.
Thank you to our fans. Our players had friends and family who made appearance’s at many games who did not have to, but wanted to. We all noticed, thank you.
Thank you to the players parents. Thank you for cheering on all the players no matter what the scoreboard said. Thank you for including all the players. Thank you for helping during the season when we needed you. Thank you for driving your child to the field on time. You all have great kids and should be proud.
Massive thanks to all the coaches, Fowler, Mulrooney, Quinlan, Rogers. Volunteering takes up an enormous amount of time out of your day, away from your family, away from your job and it does not go unnoticed. Volunteering not only takes a lot of patience, you also need huge passion for the sport, enthusiasm, dedication and encouragement. Thank you for nurturing our team and fostering resilience.
Thanks to Scurrey for streaming our games this season, what a blessing, when some of us could not make a game.
Thanks to Jess for taking on the manager role. Thanks for organizing our season, keeping us up to date, having multiple epic fun days for our players (and parents) that they will never forget, organizing our fundraising days and being there every second for any questions we all have. A lot goes on behind the scenes with this role and we appreciate the time you’ve given.
Our players were spoiled with all the swag, thanks to the Loveless and Quinlan families.
As you can tell, we had many who helped make this season a memorable one for the kids.
Until next season…💙
