What a weekend of racing! That full moon undoubtedly had its impact on the races. Josh took his bone stock out and, in feature one, started eighth and, in feature two, started eleventh, but managed to maintain his composure while navigating through traffic to finish second in both!

What a weekend! 2 days of racing, 5 drivers and 6 cars!

Saturday:
We had a great night of racing with Nick and Josh running Bone Stocks. Nick took the first feature with Josh following right behind and they both came from the back in the second feature to finish 3rd and 4th!

Andrea ran her street stock and didn’t have much luck in the first feature with such a tight class and finished 6th. In her second feature after a caution filled race managed to bring home her first 🏁 in the street stock!

The night ended with the “Legends Race” it was hard to find someone that could squeeze into Josh’s car but Scott Way managed it and brought the car across the line first!

Sunday:
Josh ran his Bone Stock in two features and came home with a solid 2nd and 5th place finish!

Clarke Racing brought 3 enduro cars to tackle the 200 laps! Unfortunately there was only one that finished! Bill managed to complete the race and finished 6th! Andrea came home 12th after having the car give up on her with about 30 laps to go. And then Nick back in his ever so popular tank of a Corolla only managed 40 laps before he had some mechanical failures!

What a weekend!! 2 almost great days of racing!

Saturday, we finally got the bugs figured out in Josh’s 83 car and he ran the best he’s ever ran before! In feature 1 he started right by Nick and when the green flag dropped Josh wasn’t leaving his dad’s bumper! Nick took the win and Josh had his first top 5 finishing 4th!

In feature 2 the boys were working their way through to the front win Nick making it to finish 1st and Josh with another top 5 in 5th!

Sunday was a little different! We showed up to a qualifying heat, dash for cash and a 30 lap feature for the bone stocks as well as the 200 lap enduro!

In the first qualifying heat was Andrea in the 34 car. With the street stocks off for the weekend she decided to see if she could still run a fun stock. She started 6th in her heat and managed to finish 4th securing her place in the top 12 for the feature.

Josh was in heat 3 and due to a rookie mistake ran his heat in the wrong gear where he finished in 6th.

The dash for cash took the bottom 3 from each feature and they did 12 laps for $150! Josh ended up starting at the back of this race but it didn’t take him long to make it up front bringing home the $!

The 30 lap feature was disappointing to say the least. With Josh’s starting position he was unfortunately placed in a situation no driver wants to be in and was taken out of the race before he even got the chance to prove himself. Josh had ran the second fastest lap time all night in the bone stocks!
Andrea managed a 6th place starting spot and managed to pull of a solid 5th place finish!

Nick brought out the Corolla for another shot at 200 laps and this was the race! They made the whole race without coming off and secured a 2nd place finish!!!

This past weekend at Full throttle speedway at varney our team managed to have an overall good night.

Andrea was able to lead some laps, and bring home a pair of second place finishes after a fairly eventful pair of feature races that brought the car home with a couple of extra battle scars. Nothing crazy, and we will have her car ready to rock when she’s scheduled back at the track on June 21st!

Josh unfortunately after having a really good test session Friday found that his clutch had started to slip shortly after taking the green flag in feature one. He managed to still bring home a 17th place finish in feature 2 with a car that was very slow because of his clutch issues. He also gets a week off and is scheduled back on June 21st!

Nick as a part time driver for Katie MacDonald managed to take home both features in the bone stock division! The win in the second feature also meant Nick got to take home the OnlyFours BIG GOLD CHAIN!

That’s now 4 wins in 4 races for Nick in this car and we couldn’t be more excited what the rest of the year may bring for this car!

Unfortunately Josh’s car still has a few gremlins to figure out and he wasn’t able to race it last night. But a big thanks goes out to Katie MacDonald for lending her car to Josh so he was still able to run!

Feature 1 Josh started 18th out of 23 cars! He was figuring out a whole new car and wasn’t sure of it but made his way up to 15th mid race but with some difference in the handling came out in 17th!

Feature 2 he started 20th and ran a good clean race finding speed half way through and worked his way up to the 9th spot!

Great job Josh!!! Hoping to have his car revealed later today and out racing next weekend!

Josh’s new bone stock finally gets to see the light of day. Couple finishing touches and it’s ready for Saturday at Full Throttle Motor Speedway. May not have pretty paint on it, but it’s raceable!!
