Hello Mavericks Families! 💚🖤
We are getting **SO close to hitting the ice!** 🏒💚 We are incredibly excited for the 2026/2027 season and can't wait to get everyone back together!
# # # 🏒 IMPORTANT: FUNTEAM ALBERTA REGISTRATION
As always, the **Morinville Mavericks use TeamLinkt** for all of our Mavericks season communication, schedules, events, and direct communication with our coaches and executive team.
However, because the Mavericks are affiliated with **FunTeam Alberta**, all players and parent volunteers are also required to be registered directly with FunTeam Alberta.
👉 **Every player MUST be registered with FunTeam Alberta by September 1, 2026.**
**No payment is required when registering with FunTeam Alberta.** The $10 FunTeam Alberta fee has already been included in your Mavericks registration fee. The Mavericks collect and pay this fee on your behalf.
# # # 👨👩👧 PARENTS & VOLUNTEERS
If you are volunteering with the Mavericks this season, you will also need to register with FunTeam Alberta.
If you are volunteering as a **coach or in another role that requires a Criminal Record Check**, you will need to provide one to the Mavericks.
Don't worry — **there is no cost to you!** 💚
We will provide you with the necessary letter and cover the cost of your Criminal Record Check.
Please note that if you are volunteering directly with FunTeam Alberta, their requirements may also require us to submit your Criminal Record Check to FunTeam Alberta.
# # # 🚨 PLEASE DON'T MISS THE DEADLINE
Your player's FunTeam Alberta registration **must be completed by September 1, 2026.**
Players who are not registered with FunTeam Alberta by the deadline **will not be permitted on the ice with the Mavericks until their registration is completed.**
We want to make sure everyone is ready to go when the season begins, so please take a few minutes to complete this registration as soon as possible!
