✨ A Few Schedule Updates for the Week Ahead ✨

As summer settles in and schedules begin to shift, we have a few changes to our regular lineup next week:

🎶 This Saturday — Join us for our Weekend in Sound Summer Solstice Sound Bath with Erin from Spind Haven Wellness. A beautiful opportunity to slow down, reset, and welcome the new season.

🪑 Monday — Our second Community Chair Yoga class takes place at the library. We’re excited to continue sharing movement and connection with our community.

🧘 Schedule Change: This week’s Wednesday Evening Flow has been moved to Monday evening.

💪 Pilates Flow Update: There will be no Pilates Flow classfor the next 2 weeks while Tia takes a few weeks off for some well-deserved summer time off.

🚗 I’ll also be heading back to Ontario on Wednesday to spend some quality time with family. As always, I’m grateful for this community’s support and look forward to returning refreshed and ready for the rest of our summer together.

Summer can be busy, but simple moments of movement, rest, and connection can help keep us grounded through it all. We hope you’ll join us for a class or event this week.

Some days I roll out my mat feeling strong, energized, and ready to take on the world. Other days, I arrive exhausted. Burnt out. Grieving. Overwhelmed. Wondering if I have anything left to give.

The beautiful thing about a consistent practice is that it doesn’t ask us to show up as a perfect version of ourselves. It simply asks us to show up.

When life feels good, our practice gives us space to celebrate and soak it in. When life feels heavy, it gives us somewhere safe to land. Through the busy days of summer, changing routines, and the ups and downs that come with being human, returning to the mat can become an anchor.

Not because every practice feels amazing. Not because every class changes everything. But because over time, the simple act of coming back teaches us how to stay grounded through it all. Happy. Burnt out. Strong. Exhausted. Grieving. Joyful. Every version of you is welcome here.

And maybe that’s the real power of a consistent practice. It’s not about becoming someone different. It’s about having a place to return to, exactly as you are.

As summer calendars begin to fill up, sometimes the most meaningful thing we can do is give ourselves permission to slow down.

Join us this Sunday at 1:00 PM for Restorative Yoga.

This gentle practice is an opportunity to step away from the busyness of the season and settle into deep rest. With the support of props and longer-held postures, we’ll create space to release tension, quiet the mind, and reconnect with ourselves.

If your week has felt full, consider this your invitation to slow down. Not because you’ve earned rest. Not because everything on your to-do list is complete.

June is here, and with it comes the start of a busy and exciting summer season. Between vacations, weekends at the lake, kids' activities, and community events, it can be easy for our regular routines to shift. That's why our theme this month is Simple Practices for Full Summer Days.

Throughout June, we'll be sharing short and simple yoga practices on our social media pages that you can save and come back to whenever life gets busy. These quick practices are designed to help you stay connected to your well-being, even when you only have a few minutes to spare.

This month, we're also excited to be participating in the ParticipACTION Community Challenge alongside the Town of Moosomin. The challenge encourages everyone to get moving throughout June, and we hope you'll join us in finding simple ways to add movement into your day.

We have lots happening at the studio this month! With International Yoga Day on June 21, we have plenty of special events and themed classes planned to help us come together as a community and celebrate the many benefits of yoga and mindful movement. We can't wait to share these experiences with you throughout the month. Here are a few highlights to add to your calendar:

You'll notice a few adjustments to our class schedule later this month. At the end of June, I'll be heading home to help my dad as he recovers from surgery, so classes have been modified to accommodate some time away with family. Thank you for your understanding and support. If you've been missing Evening Flow, I'm happy to share that it will return to Wednesday evenings in July.

If you've been craving a weekend to slow down, reconnect, and immerse yourself in the restorative power of sound, this special event was created with you in mind.

Sonic Savasana - A Yoga & Sound Therapy Infusion
Saturday June 20th 9:30 AM – 10:45 AM | $65/pp

This unique collaboration combines the art of yoga and the power of sound.
🌿 Guided Yoga — Led by studio owner and instructor Clarissa, you’ll move through a gentle, restorative yoga practice designed to prepare your body and mind for deep relaxation.

🎶 Live Sound Therapy — Throughout the practice, Erin from Sound Haven Wellness will intuitively weave in therapeutic sounds, using instruments designed to calm the nervous system and deepen your connection to the present moment.

🕊 Deep Sound Bath Finale — As the yoga practice flows into savasana, you’ll be carried into a full sound bath experience. Beginning with gentle breathwork and closing with sacred silence, this session invites you to surrender fully and recharge deeply.

Sound Journey - An immersive and therapeutic sound bath experience

Step into the signature Sound Journey experience from Sound Haven Wellness. Erin will guide you through an exploration of how sound works and why it’s such a powerful catalyst for transformation.

You’ll be enveloped in layers of vibration as Erin intuitively works both collectively and individually within the group, creating a space where the mind quiets, the body releases, and the spirit expands.

A new month is here, bringing longer days, warmer evenings, and all the beauty (and busyness!) that summer has to offer.

This month, our theme is Simple Practices for Full Summer Days. Together, we’ll explore small, accessible ways to stay connected to ourselves through movement, breath, mindfulness, and rest, even when life feels full.

Whether you’re making time for a full class, taking a few mindful breaths between activities, or simply pausing to enjoy the sunshine, remember that your practice doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful.

☀️ Pilates Flow is moving for the summer! ☀️

If you’ve been joining us on Tuesday evenings, make a note of our new summer schedule.

Starting this summer, Pilates Flow will move from Tuesdays at 6:00 PM to Thursdays at 7:00 PM.

The class you know and love is staying the same: a mindful blend of core strengthening, mobility, balance, and full-body movement designed to leave you feeling strong, energized, and connected to your body.

Whether you’ve been with us since the start or have been thinking about giving Pilates a try, we’d love to have you join us on Thursday evenings.
