On behalf of the Raymond Butterfly Memorial Cup 2026 Organizing Committee, we would like to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who made RBMC 2026 a success! From the athletes to the fans, referees, timekeepers, security, live streamers, photographers, DJs, vendors, health promotion workers, canteen team, fundraising team, merch team, our amazing local chefs and beyond… we could not have done this without you!
Our goal for RBMC has always been to emphasize community, and we’re grateful to have seen spectators of all ages from near and far throughout the weekend! Apart from the amazing action on ice, we got to witness old friends reuniting, new friends being made, and connection all around. The elder seating area was always lively, we had babies bundled up in the stands, and the atmosphere felt like home. To us, this is a true measure of success in Raymond’s honour💛
A huge thank you to community members who opened their homes for our out of town guests, we appreciate your kindness and hospitality💛
We’re also so appreciative of the success of the livestream videos, and want to thank you all who were able to join us virtually!
Our continued prayers go out to the community of Kashechewan First Nation during evacuations. The arena wasn’t the same without our #1 loudest fan section, we hope by next year the situation has resolved and we can welcome you all back💛
We would like to take a moment to thank our corporate sponsors for making RBMC 2026 possible: Moose Cree First Nation, Agnico Eagle, Pomerleau, NPLH Drilling, the Hunter Courchene Group, Air Creebec, Northern College, Pape Salter LLP, Paps Power Shop, James Bay Outdoors Ltd., and Mocreebec. RBMC is truly a collaboration, and we appreciate you for your continued support.
From the bottom of our hearts- thank you!
