The Township of St. Clair is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Operator, Works position within our Public Works Department.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in helping maintain essential municipal infrastructure and services.

Qualifications include:
✅ Grade 12 diploma
✅ Valid Ontario Class A-Z driver's license
✅ Experience operating construction equipment
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills

Experience with municipal road systems, water distribution, wastewater collection, stormwater systems, and related public works operations is considered an asset.

📍 Position: Full-Time Operator, Works
⏰ Schedule: 40-hour work week

🚧 Fitness Centre Closure Notice – Effective June 10, 2026🚧

As part of our ongoing pool and change room renovation project, the Fitness Centre will be closed effective tomorrow, June 10, 2026, due to construction requiring access to infrastructure within the building.

📧 An email with full details has been sent to all current members. If you are a member and did not receive it, please contact us or check your junk/spam folder.

We understand this may be disappointing, but these important upgrades will help us provide an even better facility for our members and visitors in the future.

💪 Group Fitness Classes will continue as long as instructor availability allows, although some classes may naturally phase out over the summer. If there's a class you'd like to see offered, please let us know!

Membership Options:
✅ Continue with group fitness classes (staff can help you find the best membership option)
✅ Place your membership on hold – all hold fees waived
✅ Cancel your membership and receive a refund for any remaining time – all cancellation fees waived during the closure

Please note: Couples memberships cannot be split and must remain active, be placed on hold, or be cancelled in full.
