There is a cool new feature in BikeStudio 4.09 (released today) called "Watts adjustment". We all know there are different kind of watts - Tacx watts, PowerTap watts, Computrainer watts, Stages watts, etc... You get it, all watt measuring devices don't exactly correlate to each other, and all manufacturers over claim their accuracy. Even different units from the same model, often have considerable differences.
So with "Watts adjustment" you can calibrate stationary trainers and power meters to a reference device. Let's say you have a trusty PowerTap wheel, you can measure other power devices in reference to your trusted power meter, record a couple data points, and voila, let BikeStudio do the magic. Now all power measuring devices are "corrected" to the reference power meter. Yes, it's brilliant!
You can do this in two ways in BikeStudio. If you have stationary Computrainers or ANT-FE-C trainers, you enter those data points in the "Station mappings" accessed from the Settings page. For "on bike" ANT+ power meters, you enter the data points when pairing the ANT+ power meter associated with the rider.
Enjoy!
