Phat Attack Hockey Club

Phat Attack Hockey Club The Phat Attack Hockey Club was established as a member of the C.I.H.L in time for the 2004/2005 season. Phat Attack 6 made it's debut in 2013/2014.

The Team currently plays in both the CIHL's Division 5 and Division 6. The Division 5 team of Phat Attack has made the playoffs 9 of 10 seasons. Phat Attack 4 has made the playoffs 3 of 6 years, advancing to the division finals in 2007/2008 losing out to the Instruments of Destruction in a best of 3. Game 2 of that final series ranks as the longest playoff game in the history of the league, taking

a 3rd overtime period to be decided. Over 65 players have played at least 1 game in the history of the franchise. 3 original members of the squad (Daniel Burbela, Ian Hermelin and Josh Kobernick) have participated in every season.

Phat Attack is excited to once again participate in the "Just for Kids" (JFK) Foundation's annual Hockey Challenge on Saturday, April 26th, 2014.

Last year, Phat Attack went 2-0 at the tournament but fell short of a trip to the finals on a technicality. We did however have a great time en route to raising $3537 for the JFK Foundation. This year, we look to exceed both marks set last year by not only winning the tournament, but by raising $5000.

Together with your help we can raise money for this great cause. With your support JFK will be one step closer to reaching their fundraising goal of furnishing the Cardiology Department at The Montreal Children's Hospital (MCH) state-of-the-art medical equipment.

As those of you who have known me for awhile know, I am always trying to help out good causes - and I'm just a sucker for extra hockey - so this event seemed impossible for me to pass up.

I am excited to participate in the inaugural 2013 "Just for Kids" Foundation (JFK) Hockey Challenge event. Playing with some of my usual Phat Attack Hockey Club teammates, we are trying to reach our goal of at least $2,500 and then go on to win the Challenge!

Together with your help we can raise money for a great cause. With your support JFK will be one step closer to reaching our fundraising goal of furnishing the Pediatric Day Hospital at The Montreal Children's Hospital with state-of-the-art medical equipment.
