GeeGee's Men's Soccer Club Welcome to the official uOttawa Men's Soccer Club page.

The University of Ottawa Gee Gee's Men's Soccer Club offers a highly competitive atmosphere for University of Ottawa male students who wish to play at a high level of football. The team practices three times a week and periodically travels on weekends to play against both university and college opposition. The season also includes a number of tournaments, including the McGill Invitational, the Car

leton Invitational and the Kingston Open. During the winter months the team participates in a varsity league in the Ottawa region, playing against college, university and semi-pro opposition. The squad is coming off its most successful year to date, which included a number of hard fought victories against colleges and universities around the province. Follow the squad on twitter

We’re excited to welcome Mohamed Elcheikh Ali to the Gee-Gees Men’s Soccer Team as our new Lead Performance Coach for the 2025 season. 💪
Mohamed brings an extensive background in Athletic Performance Coaching, with experience working with athletes from youth to professional levels. He holds an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa, is currently pursuing his Master’s in Physiotherapy, and is the Founder & CEO of FITNTX, a sports networking agency supporting career development across the industry. His expertise in strength & conditioning, injury prevention, and athlete development will play a key role in preparing our athletes to perform at their highest level throughout the season. We are proud to introduce our new coach: Nicholas Aramouni.

He was an integral part of the program from 2017-2021 as the captain of the team.

His performances as a player for the Gee-Gees earned him 4 consecutive MVPs. After graduating from uOttawa, Nick went on to play club soccer overseas in France as well as for the u23 Lebanese National Team.

We are proud to introduce our new coach: Nicholas Kashirahamwe.

A Gee-Gees Men’s soccer legend, he was an integral part of the program from 2018-2021.

His performances as a player for the Gee-Gees led him to earn a move to play club soccer overseas in France as well as for the Burundi National Team.

We are proud to introduce our new manager: Osman Osmansoy
He has been an integral part of the program the last 5 years as a player and leader on the team.

His accolades include being an OCAA Silver and Bronze Medalist with Conestoga College, earning 2 MVPs with the Condors, then transitioning to University where he holds 1 MVP honour. He looks to build on the men’s soccer program and lead them into the OUA.
