Some of our skaters performed at the Principal’s Annual Holiday Skating Party this week, which attracted over 700 McGill staff members and their families - the largesse crowd since 1992!! The event supports The Open Door MTL, which provides services to homeless and low-income people in downtown Montreal.

Our Story

The McGill Figure Skating team is a student-run competitive club where our athletes work hard every day to ensure the stability and the success of our team. Our members train 4 - 5 times a week at 6:30 AM, organize and participate in fundraisers, compete 3 times a year, perform biannual shows for the public, and handle many other responsibilities required to run a club within McGill Athletics and Recreation. Our most recent accomplishments include placing 2nd at the OUA Fall Invitational, 3rd at the Laval Synchro Invitational and 4th at the OUA Winter Invitational competitions.

We are all very passionate about figure skating and are motivated to keep our team strong and competitive. We are currently doing a crowdfunding campaign to help us subsidize competition expenses and continue proudly representing McGill in a sport we love.

Although it is a challenge to balance such a time-consuming sport while working towards a degree and maintaining a social life, our skaters feel extremely fortunate to be a part of such an uplifting community on the ice. Your support will greatly aid us in our journey to success! Thank you!
