I am deeply honored with the nomination into the Martial Arts Extraordinaire Magazine list of the WHO'S WHO in Martial Arts!

It only took me 18 months to win my first national title and while I took to TaeKwonDo like a fish in water, this award is the recognition of my many achievements and you can only imagine how important it is to me.

I am endlessly thankful to Darrell Henegan who when I first started TaeKwonDo, on my first day...I wanted to leave and never return. Darrell was at that time (and many times to follow) the world heavyweight champion and for some reason, unknown to me, he cared about me and encouraged me to continue. How could I not be endlessly grateful.

To GM Chong Soo Lee, your teachings, your patience and your lack of them formed a generation of champions...forever grateful to you.

Ashley Taekwondo You have always been an inspiration but that day you walk in an encouraged me to compete again at the World games in Torino, Italy...well, let's just say that would be one less medal. Thank you...for being you!

Elaina Rioux I am STILL amazed that you stuck by my side when I was given a shelf life of time to remain on this planet...not only did WE win that fight, but We have created an amazing family. eternally grateful for you

The hands are merely tools...and much like a hammer sitting on the countertop, they are fairly useless. However, learning how to generate power through the hip and shoulders can easily turn your hands into a hammer!
