On those hard days, never forget that God already gave those kids to you because he knew you’d be the mom those kids needed. Just the way you are.

Todays movement consisted of swimming with my kids out on the River. Being in the sunshine with my babies and partner was wonderful and helped me to feel better than I had been earlier today.
PPD is a beast that wreaks havoc on your mind and emotions, and can have you feeling good and stable one moment, and in tears and wanting to crawl into a hole the next.
Postpartum depression is something that’s not talked about enough, and is something that not only affects moms but dads as well. It is a beast that can turn you into someone you don’t recognize, someone who’s struggling to just hang on. I learned after my daughter was born that it isn’t a sign of weakness to ask for help, and knowing that I was at higher risk for postpartum depression after my son was born. Making sure that there were precautions in place before he was born was a very important part of my self care, so I wasn’t struggling to talk to someone or get on new medications when I was in my deep dark days.
If you’re struggling, just know you’re not alone, even if it may feel like it ❤️

Postpartum depression is a beast, but I’m determined that I’ll slay it so that I can be the absolute best mom I can be for my babies.

Not gonna lie, staying on top of my self care lately has been extremely difficult lately. And most days I feel like my postpartum depression is winning. Right now when I wake up on a daily basis, out of a 10 I’m maybe at a 3. I’m doing all the right things; eating well, exercising, speaking with my therapist, taking my meds, figuring out with my doctor what else could be going on, etc. but it doesn’t seem to be enough most of the time.
I know that I’m not the only mama out there that’s struggling with the day to day, even though it feels like I am.
Just gotta keep reminding myself that I’m not alone in all of this, and that my babies deserve a happy and healthy mama ❤️

I’m really proud of the progress I’ve been making over the past couple weeks!
I’m the past couple weeks I’ve started rebuilding all my muscles, strengthening my core, gaining more energy, and feeling happier. I’ve also lost 7 inches over all and am down 2lbs. I love getting stronger and working on feeling more like myself ❤️

Today was active rest day!! I did a quick walk on the treadmill and then cleaned the floors of my house while baby napped!
I also chose today to not track my nutrition, and give myself a treat of left over birthday cake, without the guilt.
Tomorrow I’ll be back on track with tracking my nutrition and a great strength workout!

Hi everyone! She’s a long post!

It has been a long time since I have posted on this page!!

There’s been A LOT happen in the last year, and it’s been a challenge getting used to our new dynamic! In the past year I’ve struggled with issues with my heart (which we still have not found out the cause of, but are continuing to do tests to try and get to the bottom of), grown an amazing tiny human, gone through major surgery to bring said tiny human into the world, adjusted to being mama to 2 kiddos, moved to our new home, and so so so much more!

While I was pregnant I wasn’t able to workout due to high heart rate issues, and was hitting up to 155bpm sitting or laying down. Since giving birth, it has seemed to correct itself to the point where I feel safe enough to workout again!

So this week I have recommitted to getting my health back in order, by moving my body for a minimum of 30 minutes every day and cracking down on my nutrition!

My personal goals are:
-to get down to 145lbs
-feel confident in my clothes
-have more energy to play with my kids
-feel better mentally
-strengthen my heart
-strengthen my core (gotta have a strong core to sneak outta bed after putting kiddos to sleep!)
-strengthen my hips (pregnancy destroys hips 🤪)

I hope to get back into personal training soon, and can’t wait to share this journey with you!

Hey everyone!
I haven’t been as active on here as normal, and in life in general!
There’s been a lot going on, between things with my health doing a scary turn for me the weekend before last, to my sweet baby girl turning the big 3!
I am hoping that things will get back to semi normal ish here in the next little bit, and hope to have some new programs and deals coming out soon!
I have a new class TCAP Family Aquatics and Fitness Center called Parent Power Hour starting THIS Thursday at 10am, so if you have questions or want to sign up call 9028383429! It’s only $15 for 4 classes, and hopefully it will do well and we can keep it going!
