Metric Homes Racing Family-based BMW race team, codriven by Chris & Shawn, competing in the Super Production Challenge We're aiming even higher for 2023!

Metric Homes Racing is a family-oriented, Ottawa, ON-based racing team. Pierre (father) and his sons (Shawn and Chris) have been racing together in their own cars since 2009. After doing years of Solo II (autocross), lapping events, Solo I (Time attack), and Gentleman's racing (point-by passing), we had our first taste of wheel-to-wheel racing. In spring 2013, we rented a seat in a chumpcar and th

en built an e36 in 2014 to run a season.

2014 brought a lot of success to the team. With a few podiums and several top-ten finishes, we carried that success into 2015 and beyond. After retiring the chump car a few years later, we all continued racing our own cars but in the summer of 2021, Chris and Shawn decided to purchase an e90 BMW and build it with the goal to complete in the Super Production Challenge as of 2022. In our inaugural year of SPC, in the super class we finished every single race and managed a 5th place overall in the Super Production class. A challenging day today with wet conditions. We've learned that there's lots of work to do on our wet setup, but we're looking forward to some dry track this weekend to lay down some better times. Qualifying tomorrow morning and Race 1 in the afternoon!

It's been a week since our first 2026 SPC race weekend at .

Was great to reconnect with a local photographer, whom we've met through photos over the years, and he didn't disappoint again. In fact, not only did he take some great pictures, he also hooked us up with .meats who provided us with an awesome lunch of burgers, fries, and poutines on Saturday! If you're ever at CTMP make sure to swing by their food truck at turn 3!

GALLERY: The Victoria Day SpeedFest opened the major event calendar over the May long weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, where the NASCAR Canada Series, FEL Motorsports Radical Cup Canada, USF Juniors, Super Production Challenge, Challenge Canada and Toyo Tires F1600 took part in the action.
