“I joined the Vipers in 2019 to try a different sport from what I've played before and maybe score a few touchdowns while I was at it. In reality when I joined this team what I found was growth, challenges, rewarding experiences, family, and a whole new outlook on what it means to be an athlete.
Whether your goal is to win some games, take your training to the next level (whatever that means for you), or prepare for Team Canada, you learn pretty quickly that every person on this team has a story and when you step on that field for practice or a game, your story is respected and your place within the team is valued.
This sport will challenge your growth in so many ways if you let it. Simply put, "you get out of it what you put into it".
