The Moncton Fisher Cats organization is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of a special longtime fan, Rita Comfort. Rita and her husband of 61 years, Owen, were proud supporters of their community, including the Fisher Cats, and could be seen cheering on the team both at home and on the road. Kiwanis Park won't be the same without Rita in the stands behind the plate.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of Luc Daigle, a beloved member of our baseball community. The Moncton Fisher Cats offer our deepest condolences to Luc's family and friends. May the memories of his time on and off the field bring comfort during this difficult time.

Congratulations / Félicitations to the 1985-1989 Moncton Mets - 2023 inductees into the Moncton Sports Wall of Fame! Well deserved!

Just look at these accomplishments...

• 5 consecutive New Brunswick Championships
• 4 consecutive Atlantic Championships
• 2 Nova Scotia Championships
• National Championship Bronze medal

The Induction Ceremony takes place tonight Oct. 21, 2023 at 7 p.m. at the Capitol Theatre. Tickets for the event are free and available at the Capitol box office or by visiting www.capitol.nb.ca.
