2025 was a strong year in a lot of ways. I made real progress mentally and got to do some cool things, like splitting 50km with and putting in a ton of solid work with the crew. I really appreciate my community and how the push me to improve.

I picked up new hobbies and habits: hunting, bowling, reading, journaling. Things that added balance and gave me better awareness of what I want from my life and who I want to be.

It wasn’t all wins though. I pushed the running too hard and saw my fitness slide. Feeling like you’ve taken a few steps backward is humbling, but it happens when you're trying something. I’m rebuilding now, more patient and with a better long-term plan.

Going into the new year, I’m excited to help even more people get fitter, and improve their lives, while continuing to do the same for myself.

A bit of today’s training session.

Still working around the hip, but the weights are going up. As long as I’m mindful with my training, pain stays minimal and it’s slowly getting better.

Fitness advice: Keep showing up doing the work you can do, and staying disciplined enough to play the long game. Not everyday is going to feel good and sometimes it'll feel worse, trust the process and you'll be back to it in no time.

Had an awesome time with the RTB crew at Trinity again this year. I was dealing with some injury and a bit of sickness, but the team pulled me through. Couldn’t have asked for a better group to spend a fitness-filled weekend with.

Today's workout I wanted to lift something. Shoulders have been slowly feeling better so not pushing it too hard. Then some skipping practice with a bit of accessory and mobility work built in.

Not a lot of intensity but I have a big day of running coming up.
