Underrated key to success is choosing who you talk to about your dreams wisely.

Not everyone in your life will be the right person to talk about it with and that’s okay.

Save the dreams and goals and crazy ideas for the people in your life who expand them— and tell you actually you’re capable of even more 💖

Practicing what I preach ✌🏻

100 pieces of content in 30 days.

It’s the Garbage Post Challenge created by Simone Seol and this will be my second time doing it.

I coach my team members at my 9-5 to try this challenge because it:
- forces you to stop overthinking and just POST
- helps you find your voice through constantly using it
- creates connection with your followers because they get to know you
- is honestly really fun even though it’s awkward at first

The point is not perfect posts. It’s to practice expressing yourself over and over until it feels so easy.

I’ve been recommending it to others but not doing it myself again, until now.

I was in a cocoon phase and I’m feeling myself emerge. It’s time to speak my heart and soul.

If you WANT to create and connect, this challenge is so good.

If you’re in a cocoon phase but telling yourself you SHOULD be posting, your best work is prob gonna be in cocooning right now and that’s okay.

Seasoned burn-it-all-downer over here 🙋‍♀️

When you’re in that kind of state, your frontal lobe goes offline — the part of your brain that’s adaptable, logical, creative.
No big deal, right? That’ll totally go well without it 😅

So if you feel like:
“IDK WHAT TO DO”

STOP trying to figure it out.
Because you literally can’t like this.

Take a breath.
Feel your feet on the ground.
And do whatever you need to do to access even a tiny bit of calm and safety inside.

31 today 🥳

30 was a wild ride and honestly really difficult. On my birthday last year I was newly pregnant and so excited to have another baby after years of being too scared of postpartum depression to do it again.

My year of being 30 showed me just how resilient I am. Moving through the grief and giving birth without bringing a baby home was the hardest thing I’ve done. But I made it. Women and mothers are so incredible, aren’t we?

I’ve learned how brave, resilient, and capable I am. I’m hoping I can take that with me into a more sweet than bittersweet next year of life 💖

Part of me thinks I shouldn’t share the challenging feelings and just post a cute birthday post so I don’t make anyone feel uncomfortable, but this is real life. I have mixed feelings today. So grateful, and also sad.

If you try to do all of these at once, and leave out yourself, you’ll always feel like you’re never doing enough while also feeling deeply burnt out.

I see this with, I’d even say 100% of my clients. They’re doing SO MUCH and it never feels like enough and they’re so overwhelmed. They care so much and their hearts are so big, but they end up not really able to show up how they want to because they’re pouring from an empty cup.

Start slow, start small, and start with you. You’re better able to really be helpful and loving and nurturing and when you start with yourself.

Plus I think I deserve to enjoy my life on this earth for however long I’m lucky to be here.

Hang on, don’t start saying “maybe I’m not cut out for this, because this feels like TOO MUCH”

First of all, I get that. My 10 year journey in online business has had a lot of tears, sweaty palms, and hiding under the duvet involved.

The key word I said in this post is WILLING. If you are WILLING to face those deep dark parts of yourself in order to grow and get your magic out there into the world, that’s the most important thing.

Now being EQUIPPED, that’s a different thing. And being able to handle the emotions and fears and negative self-talk and move into power and bold self-expression is not something you either have or you don’t. It’s something you can learn.

And it’s an investment worth its weight in gold, because how well equipped you are to move through the dark places that come with putting yourself out there can be what makes or breaks your business.

This is what I help my clients with. And they ALL say that what surprised them most about coaching with me is how SAFE and comfortable they felt delving into those things they feel nervous to say out loud or want to avoid feeling.

That’s something I’m most proud of. That every client has told me they felt so safe exploring and unraveling the deep dark stuff that holds them back.

I already know what you’re thinking: okay like those women really are cool though, but I’m not nearly as cool as them!

Yes you ARE. And you know it. Part of you knows how cool you are, even if part of you thinks you’re nothin much.

I shared those accomplishments of my clients to show that even with clearly, outwardly cool accomplishments, the imposter syndrome doesn’t go away.

In a way this is GREAT news: you don’t need to reach that big goal or get yet another credential in order to finally feel confident and worthy.

And this also means that you can’t work your way out of imposter syndrome. You also can’t just use positive affirmations to convince yourself through repetition. You already know that isn’t working.

It’s an internal self-sabotage that can be chipped away at in a life-altering way in less than an hour ✌🏻
