🏗️ Arena Project Update 🏒

Exciting progress continues at the Arena!

✅ The compressor room walls and vestibule are now complete.
✅ Concrete flooring has been poured in both areas.
🔧 Crews are currently installing refrigeration piping within the arena floor as preparations continue for the next stage of construction.

The project remains on schedule, with the arena floor concrete pour planned for July 2–3, 2026.

Thank you for your continued patience and support as we work toward bringing the new ice plant online. Stay tuned for more updates as this exciting project moves forward!

🏊 Swimming Lesson Update 🏊

Due to the current weather conditions, swimming lessons have been cancelled for today.

The status of the 7:15 p.m. swim has not yet been determined. We will continue to monitor the weather and make a decision closer to the scheduled start time.

🏗️ Arena Construction Update 🏒
Construction at the Arena continues to move ahead with several key milestones nearing completion.
The new compressor room walls and vestibule are taking shape and are close to being finished. Inside the rink area, crews are wrapping up installation of the insulation and vapour barrier, along with placing rebar that will support the refrigeration piping embedded within the arena floor.The project remains on schedule, with the arena floor concrete pour planned for the first week of July. Thank you for your continued patience and support as we work toward delivering these important facility improvements. More updates to come as construction progresses.

It's been a wonderful school year filled with drop-in and programs at the West Perth Youth Centre! Thank you to all the youth and volunteers who joined us!👏

Please note that the Youth Centre is now closed for regular youth drop-in until September but starting on Wednesday, July 8th, youth are invited to join us from 6:30-8:30pm on Wednesdays for the summer.
