Drink yo' water this summer!

Not just to refresh and quench thirst but also to ensure your muscles are getting enough electrolytes.

Here's some food for thought - Bodybuilding.com writes " A 2% drop in body water can cause a small but critical shrinkage of the brain, which can impair neuromuscular coordination, decrease concentration, and slow thinking. Dehydration can also reduce endurance, decrease strength, cause cramping, and slow muscular response."

So pour yourself another water so that you can stay in prime condition during the hot summer months.

Congratulations to the Toronto .habs for a successful first season! It has been a pleasure to train with you in the gym.

Our Director of Fitness, strongly believes in the athlete-centred model of training. The core principle being that athletes should get to have ownership over their development.

One way that VInce practices this is through "Choose Your Own Adventure" exercise mapping. Working with our athletes directly, Vince and the group build a workout that is enjoyable and engaging with on-the-spot feedback from the athletes. The result? A pretty awesome workout and motivated/interested/engaged athletes.
