Summer sometimes means boat trips and adventures by the water. Taking your little ones with you is always fun, but make every moment a happy one, safety comes first.

Did you know? A life jacket isn't just for rough water or long boat rides. It's for every time your child is near open waters.
Think of it like a seatbelt. You don't wait for an accident to put it on. So here are a few things:

A few things to check before heading out this summer:
🐟 It fits snugly — not too loose, not too tight
🐟 It's the right size for your child's weight
🐟 It keeps their head above water on its own
🐟 It's approved by Transport Canada

Even strong swimmers still wear life jackets in open water. Confidence in the pool is great — but lakes, rivers, and boats are a different environment entirely.
