Our youth player development system in Canada is below standard compared to the rest of the world. The Ontario Player Development League created over ten years ago is a joke. A total scam charging parents about $10,000/yr. It has not produced any quality players for our national teams or pathway to Europe. A change is due.

Football will take you through some great highs but also tough lows.

It’s all part of the journey.

Just over 1 month ago Eze was flying.

Arsenal’s big signing, playing well, scoring a hat-trick in the NLD, everything was amazing.

Fast forward 1 month he’s stuck on the bench and struggling for game time.

What’s happened?

Well it could be due to a number of reasons…

Maybe it’s just because Odegaard has returned, and is playing well.

Maybe he’s not training well.

The truth is that we don’t know why Eze’s not playing.

But this is one thing every footballer will go through.

The key thing is you remain positive, keep on training hard and be prepared for your next opportunity.
