*About the Club* –
One has to be a part of TDF Canada CC to experience the age old saying “Cricket Knows No Boundaries”. One of the first and most notable aspects of TDF Canada CC is its multi-culturalism. TDF Canada CC came into being in 2016 as a tennis ball cricket team. TDF Canada CC soon started getting popular in Greater Toronto Area as the team made its foray into Leather Ball Cricket in due course of time. TDF Canada CC boasts of more than 50 players who have made their presence felt across Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The club is known for its cricket which is played with quality and flair. The Club is also synonymous for the growth of its players with the club and within the club. The biggest USP of the club is not only the action on the field but also the camaraderie that is built off it. The players once under the roof of TDF Canada build a lifelong bond and friendship not only for cricket but also beyond the boundary.
*Vision Statement* –
Any sporting venture needs a sound Vision and Mission statement. One of the biggest vision that TDF Canada CC has is to be a community leader via the game of cricket. The club views the game of cricket as a great uniter of every culture that is living in the Greater Toronto Area. The Club also strives to provide a chance for cricketers a chance to exhibit their skill and contribute to the fast paced growth of the club. TDF Canada CC also believes in shared values and rapport that is built between individuals through this great game which we all love called Cricket.
*Mission Statement* –
TDF Canada CC has one mission and that is not only become a unifier of communities to people around the GTA but also become a brand. TDF Canada CC aspires to spread its tentacles not only in Greater Toronto Area but also beyond it. The Club aspires to give ample opportunities to talented players and give them a chance to grow. When we speak about becoming the brand an association with TDF Canada CC gives the players to become brand ambassadors of the club themselves. TDF Canada CC looks for continued growth and success in the field of play. The Club also will make its presence felt in Summer and Winter Leagues all through the year. TDF Canada also wants to have its presence felt in the Women’s game. There is no better place for anyone who loves the game of cricket and wants to make a name for himself and be part of a club like TDF Canada CC.
*The Founder’s Corner* –
“My Passion is to grow the community through the love for cricket. People here do not know each other before joining the club. They meet, grow and build rapport with each other eventually. We have seen cases where friendships built during the time in the club has resulted in career help and guidance and resettlement opportunities across Canada. I take pride and immense happiness to see such friendship and relationships being built through TDF Canada CC. As a founder and a community leader this makes me swell with pride that Cricket has played a huge role in such friendships and TDF Canada CC is the medium. I also aspire to encourage the youth and aim to include girls and women in the near future. The club also aspires to have multiple communities play for the club not only from India but also from various parts of the world. As they say Cricket knows no boundaries, TDF Canada also adheres to the same principles and philosophy. Finally I would like to say that on the cricket field I aspire to see my players being recognised and enjoy vast popularity as I view each and every one of them as a valuable asset and a priceless brand ambassadors of the club. I would also like to stress that the doors of TDF Canada CC will always be open for anyone who wishes to be part of this family and also play the game of cricket and exhibit his skills and vast talent. There is no better place than TDF Canada where its not only about Cricket but also about Community”
