Well it finally happened!
Steadily and sometimes not so quietly CRS has reached a small milestone.
We only wish all 300 members are actively racing with us but we'll settle for around 10% or about 30 cars presently!
We're still getting more interest and gaining more traction as this current truncated season trudges on.

So this happened a couple of months back.
finally got to sit in his newly completed CRS-D race car!
Just this past weekend he also made his way down to to further his racing experience by completing another novice race!

Originally removed from Zero, these stock dampers with S-Tech springs are somewhat of a legend now in our small but growing band of hooligans.
While not intended for track duty, .crescent and I decided to use them during a shakedown as the first generation Modus dampers had not arrived yet.
This combo proved to be predictable over the bumps and provided a hilarious amount of body roll!
On a track where many struggle to hit 1:20/lap with more powerful and better prepared cars, we managed a respectable 1:22.4 and 1:22.8 on small 205.50.15

It's been a wild 2020 for all the wrong reasons.... CRS has also been affected and our plans to qualify for our very own class has unfortunately been derailed.
However, a new challenger appears!
has picked up an EF shell with plans to be a frontrunner in the upcoming 2021 season!

It was a productive few days.
Here we have our resident welder attempting to set Ghost on fire.
The process of building a cage is a long and tedious one but I'm glad I have the CRS A-Team backing me up.
Thank you all who were involved. While there were a bunch of hitches along the way, I learned a ton, breathed a ton of metal dust and seam sealer but am completely over the moon with the results.
So when do we start on the next one? 😎😎

The thankless job of removing all the sound deadening.
Don't have a rotisserie to make these largely vertical surfaces flat nor did I have any sandbags to lay on top of the dry ice that I didn't buy. 😅
Works well enough. Would use again but maybe just for the really hard to reach areas like next to the dead pedal and behind the blower fan.
Sure beats the heat gun and torch method I started with about 20 years ago....

A new Challenger appears!
The .auto CRX is 90% finished and ready for competition! A kill switch, fire extinguisher and some roll bar padding along with race numbers will make it complete!

Progress has been slow.... Or rather I should say snow... 🙄😅
While the rest of Canada is operating as it normally would, Vancouver is the laughing stock of the country with its inability to even keep public transit functioning.

ZERO finally going under the knife.
After an unfortunate mishap on the very last day of racing in 2019, repairs have started.
Still a long road ahead but at least there's hope!
The trailing arm on the right was responsible for some pretty wild toe angles. The arm on the left is assumed to be in good working condition.
Hope is on the horizon!

Well sort of.... Our in-house program consists of complete disarray and general disorder. This project car, which we have dubbed the Ghost is actually going to be 3 years in the making!
New year resolution is to FINISH and RACE the Ghost!
Huge thanks to at R&P Motorsports for doing so much work and giving the Ghost a place to sleep. You are immensely appreciated!
