PICTURE DAY!

Soccer photos for all Timbits U5, Timbits U7, U9, and U12 players will be held at two different locations this year, to accommodate the bridge closure. All players regardless of their registered location are welcome to attend any of the sessions.

Here are the two main sessions:
*Sunday July 5 1:00 - 4:00 pm, King St School Turf Field Dressing Room
* Monday July 6 4:30 - 8:00 pm, MVHS Soccer Field (rain date is Wednesday July 8 4:30 - 8)

Makeup date:
*Sunday July 12 4:00 - 5:30 pm, King St School Turf Field Dressing Room

Just like last year, team photos will be created using a montage of individual photos. Coaches are encouraged to have their photo taken so they can appear in the team photo. Free digital downloads of "coach + child" photos will also be available.

Participation is completely optional, and there's no obligation to purchase. All photos will be uploaded to private online galleries, and once prints are ready, they will be mailed out around the end of the season.

While not all competitive teams (U11 and up) are taking part in photo day, players from those teams are welcome to join if they'd like to have their photo taken. If competitive teams would like to have their own session scheduled during a practice, they may reach out to Jordan for scheduling.

📢 IMPORTANT REC SOCCER UPDATE: Schedules, Game Formats & Critical PowerUp Reminders! 📢

We want to make sure everyone has a fantastic season, but we need your help to keep things running smoothly - If you haven't been receiving updates, you are missing critical information!

Please take a look at these essential updates and PowerUp instructions:

📧 Fix Your PowerUp Settings Today!
Opt-In to Emails: Log into the PowerUp portal and verify your contact info. Make sure you are explicitly opted-in to receive emails and notifications from the club and your coaches.

Troubleshooting: If you are having trouble navigating the app, there are tons of quick, helpful video tutorials available on YouTube!

⚽ Game Schedules & Attendance
Schedules: Games are being released on PowerUp incrementally as they are finalized. We wont post the full season at once so we can adjust for travel logistics/rescheduling games due to weather/low attendance.

A Note on Travel: Yes, there is some travel involved this season. We have minimized it as much as possible, but it is necessary so our players get to play diverse teams rather than the same two groups all summer!

Mark Your Attendance: It is imperative that you log into PowerUp and mark your player’s attendance for every game. If a team doesn't have enough players, the game will have to be cancelled and rescheduled. Please communicate closely with your coaches!

🏃‍♂️ Game Formats & Field Flexibility
We generally aim for 5v5 (U5), 7v7 (U7), 9v9 (U9), and 11v11 (U12). However, this is a recreational league! Coaches have full discretion to adjust. If your team is short on players, please feel free to take more breaks, ask the other team to "play down," or lend players to keep things balanced. It's all about fun and skill development!

Help on the field: There may be times when volunteer coaches can't make the games. This is a busy time for everyone, and we deeply appreciate parents and families stepping up to help out when needed!
