The Miramichi Golf & Country Club is currently accepting applications for the following positions for the 2026 season. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals who enjoy working in a team environment and providing exceptional experiences for our members and guests.
All positions require weekend availability.
Full-Time Grounds Crew
Position Type: Full-Time (44 hours per week)
Employment Period: Immediate start through December
Responsibilities:
-Mowing greens, tees, fairways, and rough
-Course setup including hole locations, tee markers, and course accessories
-Operating and maintaining golf course equipment
-Bunker maintenance and landscaping duties
-Assisting with irrigation and general course maintenance
-Ensuring the golf course is presented in excellent condition daily
Qualifications:
-Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
-Strong work ethic and attention to detail
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, or golf course experience is considered an asset but is not required
Must be available to work weekends and early morning shifts
Part-Time Starter / Marshal
Position Type: Part-Time (16–20 hours per week)
Employment Period: Immediate start through October 31
Must be 19 years of age or older
Responsibilities:
-Welcome golfers and assist with first tee operations
-Monitor pace of play and provide on-course assistance
-Communicate course policies and expectations to players
-Help create a positive experience for members and guests
-Report course concerns to golf operations staff
Qualifications:
-Friendly and professional demeanor
-Strong communication and customer service skills
-Knowledge of golf and golf etiquette preferred
-Ability to work independently
-Must be available to work weekends
Part-Time Pro Shop Attendant
Position Type: Part-Time (16–20 hours per week)
Employment Period: Immediate start through October 31
Must be 19 years of age or older
Responsibilities:
-Greeting members and guests
-Checking in golfers and processing tee times
-Operating the point-of-sale system
-Assisting with merchandise sales and inventory
-Answering phones and booking tee times
-Assisting with tournament and event operations
-Maintaining a clean and organized pro shop
Qualifications:
-Strong customer service and communication skills
-Cash handling and retail experience considered an asset
-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Basic knowledge of golf is preferred
-Must be available to work weekends and evenings
