Welcome to the Western University Equestrian Club! Located in London Ontario, we are a group of athletes with interest in horses and the many social aspects that surround them. Being a part of the club not only allows you to keep up your riding during university, it connects you to other equestrians through our teams, lesson program, and other events year-round. am: OCEA. The team is comprised of roughly 10-20 like-minded individuals competing against other schools with even more athletes of similar interests – a great way to make friends in university! If competition isn’t your thing, the club offers a well planned lesson program to teach you how to ride or to improve on your previous skills. Lessons are offered in hunter/jumper and dressage as well as potential for western lessons with sufficient interest. For interaction with equestrians outside of the barn, there are numerous events throughout the year. Some of our events include barbecues, trail rides, holiday parties, club shows, team bonding events, and our annual Team Photo Day as well as other events we might be adding. The best part about the club is that nothing requires your own horse or car! Horses are donated by our amazing sponsors throughout the year and carpools are organized among club members who do have cars. We try our best to make all events bank account friendly as everything is student-run. We look forward to meeting new members who wish to join our Western Equestrian Club family!
