Hi Tritons
After careful consideration, we are sad to announce that our Mighty Tritons 2022-23 season will be our last season. We just don’t have the numbers to continue to operate.
In the years before the pandemic, we had between 110 and 130 swimmers a year throughout the season. Since we started back up in September 2021, we’ve only had 30-35 swimmers at the start of the season, with a sharp decline in the second half. The reduced numbers just don’t provide enough funds to cover the cost of running the team.
We’d like to thank all the Triton swimmers, families and coaches who have been part of our program over the last 14 years . It’s been a privilege to work with so many wonderful people, and to be a part of their lives.
Remember, swimming is a lifetime skill, and we hope you have many happy swimming years in front of you.
