You need to be the reason why You need to be changing that You need to be at the center of your world not from an ego perspective from a what's important so that you can show up in the world Leadership is built in uncertainty It's not built when it's just easy The most powerful leaders are not those with all the answers they're the ones who are willing to move forward despite uncertainty Leadership often requires making decisions beyond guarantees right "Okay I don't know if this is gonna work but I'm gonna choose it I'm gonna step into it." And waiting for complete certainty can stall growth and innovation Courage becomes more valuable than comfort Taking those steps taking those leaps you've got to have your own back as a leader As self-leadership you've got to be willing to have your own back You've got to be willing to say "I'm going to step into this and I'm going to do what's required I am gonna show up." This doesn't mean exhausting yourself This doesn't mean you know going against your morals and your values That's not what it means It means that you are going to be your best friend no matter what That's what self-leadership is about It's about saying "I'm here I'm here with you No matter what I'm here I got you Let's go." Knowing When you have that type of internal communication with yourself you will be able to continue to move forward It's phenomenal to have people around you that support you encourage you that guide you that coach you abso-friggin-lutely but one of your biggest goals needs to be doing that for yourself.

Indecision is one of the biggest revenue killers in business. It truly is. If you get a hit, you've gotta be that. You have a creative idea at some point, you've gotta trust that you're making a great decision. Absolutely cross your T's and dot your I's .Absolutely look at the amount of time. Look at the expenses involved. But then make that decision and make it quickly 'cause that's where you can start to shift in right .You don't wanna sit in hesitation. You want to move. Waiting for certainty is just fear in disguise. Truthfully it is. You've got to trust you and the only way you're gonna trust you is by taking those steps again and again and again, right? It's learning to step up and it's learning to make those decisions and as you do, your decision, your decisiveness is gonna get faster and faster and faster and this is how business is gonna move. The momentum is built through your actions not overthinking. So imagine right now that you are making decisions and you're growing your business. You grow your business by 10%. You've brought somebody on board, you've taken back 5 hours a week for yourself and you've grown your business by 10%. Now that muscle is stronger and stronger and stronger. 6 months from now you could have 2 people on the team and you could grow your business by 15%. Before the end of this year my friends, you could grow your business by an additional 15%. What could you do with that?

So one of the last things before I move on to the next point that I want to say is that sustainable leadership requires an internal commitment It requires discipline and clarity beyond emotional highs

Being a leader is really stepping in and taking responsibility right a leader really requires emotional responsibility So strong leaders do not just dump their emotions all over people

They learn how to regulate themselves communicate intentionally really have those conversations that are uncomfortable

Emotional responsibility when you will have those conversations they create safety trust and stability within teams and within businesses

We need to also stop leading from emotion and start leading from vision. It's not easy. We're emotional beings. I am a very emotional person but we've got to stay loyal to our vision and we've got to be willing to let people leave both clients, team members, any kind of partnership, we've got to be willing to let them leave if they don't match our vision. We can have sadness. We can have frustration, okay, but again you need to bookend that and stick to your vision. There are so many amazing CEOs in the world. There are so many people out here that have great vision and they oftentimes will walk away from it because of emotions, because of upset, because of challenging conversations that they have to have. Emotional decision-making actually creates inconsistency and instability in your business. CEOs feel emotions but they don't lead from their emotions. They lead from impact. They lead from a clear vision that makes the decision aligned with their future. Are you willing to lead forward with a clear mind and let the emotions be complete? Are you willing to do that? Your mood cannot dictate your business direction. Your vision must be stronger than your emotion. Is it? Is your vision stronger than your emotion or are you waning back and forth? Where are you at right now with your vision?

It was interesting 'cause the one host that that I actually had a couple situations happen with during this time she said to me "Well you know I didn't know what we were gonna do but I thought if anybody's gonna be able to figure it out it's gonna be Christine." And in that moment I realized that that's my leadership that they know that they can count on me that I wasn't doing it to impress them I was doing it because I'm a leader and I'm a leader within my own business regardless of what they said.

Would I have liked the day off? Sure. It could've been nice. I could've read a book, I could've gone for nice walks, right? But that's not who I am. I had their support to do that but that's not who I choose to show up as right? I have boundaries within myself. Somebody actually said to me "Well what if it was the universe was actually inviting you Like why were you pushing so hard to make sure that they happen?" Because this is who I am I don't just step away when it's convenient. I look for a different possibility.

And I still have lots of spaces and places to grow as a leader but this is one of the things that I do and I do it well because from day one of of being in my own business I've been committed to making sure that I followed the outline of what I expect anybody that works with me to follow. We do our very very best and we keep moving forward. So we wanna make sure that we've got these things in place these boundaries in place to support our leadership and to support the business that we are creating.

Stop Avoiding, Start Growing Your Daily Choices Matter

It's so important that you really look at, โ€œHow am I identifying? What are my choices that I'm making every day that is identifying with that person who I desire to be?โ€. Again it's not about faking it. It's about the daily choices, the daily choices that is bringing you into that. One of the biggest things that we do is we are in avoidance and avoidance is costing us more than failure is costing us. If you choose something, if you step into something and you give it a try and you fail quote-unquote "fail," I don't believe you fail. Lots of people will say that but I truly I've learned more from when I've tripped and fallen than when I have just something was easy. But you really will learn so so much about yourself in the failures. But if you're avoiding something, if you're not giving it a go, if you're not willing to risk, how are you ever going to grow? It's the things that you avoid that are exactly the things that are slowing your growth. Difficult conversations being visible upping your pricing. These are common common avoidance zones.

You know when you think something is easy and you can do it really really fast you don't value it. But you don't see most of us, don't see all of the aspects that have brought us to that place of speed and ease. Those are the things that we've invested in the time the energy the devotion the tweaking, the tweaking, the tweaking, the education, the classes. All of that is what has brought us to that space. And so we oftentimes we'll underprice and it is killing us.
