I have been off for a year as I had a baby last January and I am finally getting back into training again. A little about myself:
I have been riding horses since I was 11 years old, and have been drawn to them ever since. I did 4-H for 4 years, and then from there I went and started working for other trainers trying to get the experience I needed. I went to Olds College for 2 Years and majored in
Training in the western Disciplines. I have trained many different horses specific for reining, cutting, working cow horse, penning, roping, barrel racing, hunter, western pleasure, Ranch horse, and your everyday leisure kid’s horse. My main focus is to create a safe environment for both myself and the horse. I am very adamant about the give and give. (You give to me I will give back a thousand times more). I am all about soft hands and leg and creating a communication with my horse through motion and pressure. I do not use restrains such as tie downs or draw reins etc. For starting I go through all the steps on the ground level first before I put the first ride. That way when I get up for the first time the horse already has an idea about pressure and what I will ask of them. I love my animals and I treat all animals the same, which is with love and respect. I won’t treat your horse/horses any different then I will treat my own horses. I also want to make you as the owner happy. I require complete cooperation and support and I will not keep anything hidden and I promise to be completely honest with you about progress and how your horse is doing. I start young horses, work/put hours on green horses, work on problem horses, I will also help you and your horse with problems you are both having. Anything from ground manners to in saddle issues. I also teach riding lessons in the western disciplines.
