Millbrook Wado Kai Karate

Millbrook Wado Kai Karate The Millbrook dojo was opened in 2009 by Sensei Sanford DeWitt, a rokudan (6th degree black belt) with the Shintani Wado Kai Karate Federation.

As a black belt for over 30 years now, Sensei Sanford is a former national team member who also served as a coach of the team for a few terms. He was a cofounder in bringing Wado style karate to the Kawarthas in the early 90's and now has students with their own dojos across the region. These days Sensei Sanford runs a family oriented, child-focused karate class in his home village of Millbrook. F

or students looking for extra training, there is access to other Wado dojos in the area 6 days a week... all within 35 min or less! To come and check out classes on Wednesday nights, or to register and join our club, email [email protected]. September 2019 marked the 10-year anniversary of the Millbrook dojo... and a great celebration was held in the Cavan South Monaghan Public School gym!!
