​Introducing our VIP After-School Karate Package (Ages 5+):
🚶‍♂️ 3:30 PM: We meet your child at the Mundy's Bay Public School bell and safely walk them right across the street.
🎨 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM: Kids settle in at our brand-new facility at 711 Yonge Street to eat their own packed, peanut-free snack of choice, play games, and do crafts to unwind.
🥋 4:00 PM - 4:45 PM: They hit the mats for our regular Kids' Shotokan Karate class!
👋 4:45 PM: You pick up a happy, active kid who has already finished their extracurriculars for the day!

​We are beyond proud, honored, and humbled to announce that Kontact Martial Arts Academy has officially been voted the CommunityVotes Simcoe County Platinum Winner for 2026 in Sports, Recreation & Fitness – Martial Arts! 🥇
​Taking home the Platinum title for both 2025 and 2026 is a massive milestone, and it would not be possible without our incredible community.

Every black belt started as a beginner looking for direction.

Finding martial arts is a turning point, no matter what age you finally tie on that white belt. For many of us who now teach, the dojo was the place that gave us clarity and purpose when we needed it most. Before stepping onto the mats, we might have battled self-doubt, lacked a clear outlet, or just needed a community where we truly belonged.

Training didn’t just teach us how to defend ourselves. It gave us mentors who believed in us. We learned true discipline, built lifelong friendships, and developed an inner resilience that changed the trajectory of our lives.

That exact transformation is the heartbeat of Kontact Martial Arts Academy.

My greatest passion is passing that life-changing experience down to the next generation. Whether your child needs a positive channel for their energy, is learning to stand up to bullies, or is simply looking for a supportive environment to thrive in, we are here to guide them through every step of their Karate or Jiu-Jitsu journey.
