Mainprize Regional Park

Mainprize Regional Park Located along the shores of the Rafferty Resevoir, Mainprize Park features golfing, fishing, camping, lodging, and dining.

Today the park is a hub of activity driven by the development of 4 home/cottage subdivisions, full season campsites, 50 short term campsites and an 18 hole professionally designed links golf course. The concrete boat launch (4 p

lace) and the locally owned Dam Store are all stocked with fishing and confectionery items that will add to your days boating experience. The excellent walleye, pike and perch fishing has made the Rafferty Resevoir one of Saskatchewan's fishing hotspots. If a lazy day in the sun is in order, the beach has 4 sun shelters equipped with picnic tables, barbecues and large grassed areas. The park is truthfully an oasis amidst the provinces bustling oil patch and those that have tested their golf skills on the links claim - it is the only place in Saskatchewan that you can get a peek of Scotland.

A big thank you to the Mainprize Regional Park Staff for the success of the 19th Annual Farmers Tournament.

Thank you to all our sponsors and participants for an excellent day on the links; we had 106 golfers this year, a record for the tournament. Our lucky 50/50 winner took home $820, and the other portion of the sales is going towards the new flooring project for our pro-shop building.

Next year will be the 20th anniversary, and Joyce and her team have some special plans in the works; stay tuned.
