After a solid win against Oak Bay in the last game of the season, the Cougars finish 3rd overall in the inaugural season of the VDCA Premiership!

The season isn't over yet though, as the Cougars head to the Carihi Cricket Ground in Campbell River to take on Courtenay Cricket Club in the semi-final of the Victoria and District Cricket Association (VDCA) Premiership! The match is on Saturday September 6th and it starts at 12pm!

More spirit of cricket today, this time in Metchosin as the Manthers take on the Campbell River Masters. It’s a fast outfield so there should be lots of runs on order!

The spirit of cricket was on display Saturday as the Cougars XI took on the Colts at Windsor Park. According to the app, Nick took Player of the Match honours with 35* and two wickets. Navi was best batter with 41. Debutant Sanjana was in the wickets and there were spectacular catches by John and Nick. Cole took a lot of stick as the stand in WK.

The Cougars and Mackerels head into bye weeks both sitting third, and in playoff position, in their respective divisions. Next up is the always anticipated inter-squad game on the 19th. Trainings are still on.
