Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share something quick. After a random hospital visit back in December, a couple biopsies and a CT scan found Hodgkin’s lymphoma. I originally planned to keep it private, but I know some info about my health may have gotten out.

I feel good and I’m ready to take it on. I’ll keep working as much as I can, but my schedule might be a bit all over the place during treatment.

Apologies to students who have been asking about the lesson times.

I’ve been really lucky it was caught early, and both my old and current workplaces have been awesome through all of this.

Thanks to everyone who’s reached outI really appreciate it.

We move on, and we can talk about golf stuff, please!

Excited to be joining Metchosin Golf Course as Head Professional As of March 30

It’s a great fit for my growing family, and I’m happy to be staying close to the community just 10 minutes down the road. Looking forward to working with a great team at a well-run facility.

Excited to get started and take on a new challenge.

Thanks to everyone who reached out and supported me through the move.

Hi everyone,

I have officially resigned from my position as General Manager of Victoria Golf Centre. For the time being, I will continue offering instruction at the course.

Announcement

I want to inform everyone that, after much thought, I have decided to resign from my role as General Manager at Victoria Golf Centre.

I truly enjoyed my time at VGC over the past 10 years. Together, we built and established a strong business, and I am incredibly proud of the team and everything we accomplished.

First, I want to sincerely thank everyone who came out to the course—rain or shine—including our members, the disc golf community, all my great student faculty, and participants in the many programs we offered. Your support meant everything.

Most importantly, thank you to all the people who worked with me over the years. It was an absolute pleasure, and I’m grateful for every one of you.

It has been a great ride. I’m now looking forward to new opportunities in the future.

Will be by next week for couple of days to say goodbye!
