Fine Line Edge Tuning Skate Sharpening (We Sharpen Hockey skates, including goalie skates we do not sharpen figure skates) How it Works 1) DROP ‘EM OFF Location – You’ll find us at 312 Hornby Dr in Melfort, easy to locate just off Brunswick Street. Hours – We are open year round, our easy to access secure drop/pickup box is camera monitored 24 hours a day. Send a quick Text message to 306-921-7499 when you drop them off to let us know we have some work to do. 2) PAYMENT You have two options for payment, per sharpen ($5.00) or save some money and buy a punch pass ($40 – 10 Sharpens) 3) PICK ‘EM UP Once your skates have been sharpened just right, we’ll send you a text message and place your skates in the pickup box for you to grab at your convenience. Ski & Snowboard Edge Tuning and Waxing How it works 1) Drop off and pickup of Ski’s and Snowboards will be in person, just send a text message to 306-921-7499 to arrange a good time to drop off. 2) Choose your options (Stand Alone Wax, Wax & Edge Tune) 3) Payment and Pickup, once your ski’s or snowboard is perfectly tuned and ready to go, we will send you a text message and arrange a time for you to pickup and pay. ABOUT FINE LINE EDGE TUNING HOW WE STARTED Skate Sharpening Fine Line Edge Tuning started out of the need for quality edge tuning when local options were limited, sharpener David Kellington was lucky enough to play hockey ranging from Jr A to NCAA Div I, during that time he learned that your skates are only as good as your last sharpen, and developed a need for quality edges at all times. After moving to Melfort and continuing to play Sr hockey the only way to make sure he could have the edges he wanted was to purchase his own skate sharpener and develop his skills on his own skates. In the next 5 years he took on sharpening his two sons skates and then on to sharpening skates for the public. Every pair of skates are sharpened/tuned to that perfect edge every time by David who takes pride in knowing that your edges won’t be something that you will have to worry about in a fast moving sport like hockey. Ski & Snowbaord Tuning Much like skate sharpening our services came out of a need for quality tuning/waxing in a place where options were limited. With two young boys and David himself an active skier and snowboarder keeping equipment in top shape meant travelling to get equipment tuned, over the last few years David has honed his skills in Hot Wax, edge tuning, and light base repair, now offering these services to Melfort and surrounding area. Each ski and snowboard is a project and David takes great pride in knowing that you trusted him to keep your expensive gear at peak performance. Whether doing a multi-day trip to the mountains or just a relaxed day at Wapiti Ski Valley we know that your time is important and will make sure your equipment preforms exactly like it needs to for you to have a great time. Not only do we tune your edges, but we play, ski and board just like you, your passion is our passion and David takes great pride in every edge that leaves the shop.
