For over 50 years, Medicine Hat children and adults alike have been swimming with AMAC. Contact us to learn more, and try us out free for a week!

The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from beginner to international competitor. Head Coach Jordan Harper is going in to his third season with the Marlins. Jordan has competed at the provincial and National level with one of the highlights being his attendance at the Canadian Olympic Trials in 2011. Jordan spent some time at the University of Calgary swimming under Mike Blondal and Jan Bidrman. He holds a diploma in Kinesiology and is currently pursuing his Level 2 Coaching Certification. Jordan has gone from having a passion for swimming and now has found a passion for coaching. He is happy to be a part of the AMAC family and plans to be with the club for many years to come. 🚨 BREAKING NEWS: MAJOR BOARD DECISION ANNOUNCED 🚨

After a nail-biting, 45-minute high-stakes debate last night — complete with raised voices, intense slideshow presentations, and several emergency coffee refills—the Board of Directors has officially voted to approve a monumental financial investment for our team.

Effective immediately, we are allocating a significant portion of our operational budget to acquire the Mister 1000 for ALL AMAC swim groups! 🏊‍♂️💨

We know this was a massive decision, but after weighing the pros and cons, the board determined that looking like you just crushed a 5,000m set is far more cost-effective than actually swimming one.

What this major capital expenditure means for our swimmers:

Instant Athletic Credibility: Walk out of the pool deck looking like an absolute legend without ever dipping a toe in the cold water.

Capital Efficiency: Why spend money on extra lane space when we can just spray-on authentic chlorine scent, frizzy hair, and wet-coat glory?

Compliance & Quality Control: Please note that starting next week, goggle-line placement will be strictly audited by coaching staff to ensure 100% authentic tan-line geometry. �

🔥🍪 What a kickoff to the season!

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for our Cookies & Campfire get-together! It was amazing seeing so many AMAC families show up to kick off the new year together.

From climbing hills and playing games to relaxing around the fire, the kids had a blast—and we’re pretty sure everyone left with hands completely covered in sticky marshmallow! 😋 Marshmallows were toasted, s'mores were stacked, and great memories were made.

Dive into a new season with us! 🏊‍♂️✨ Welcome to the 2026–2027 Masters Swim Season!

Whether you're training for competition, swimming for fitness, or building confidence with the basics, there's a spot in the pool for you. "Masters" simply means age 18+, and all skill levels are welcome.

🗓 When We Swim:

Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays

Time: 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Pro Tip: Arrive between 7:20 PM and 7:25 PM! The coach typically reviews the workout set right before we hit the water.

I hope everyone had a great summer and that the kids are excited to start a new school year and a new swimming season.

The Big Marble Go Centre(pool side) is currently under shut down and this year, it is 6 weeks long. This means that we will be starting our season at Hill Pool in September and will be there until the start of October.
