When I first started gaining exposure to Kelly S. Worden back in the Canadian seminar series days there was this loud, enthusiastic, entertaining, and interesting guy Randy King!

Randy and others helped me tremendously early on as I attempted to follow Datu to rapidly learn, absorb, and retain arnis flow drills, to the point where I eventually ‘looked’ like I knew what I was doing.

Over the years I had the opportunity to pop in to Randy’s Edmonton club and participate in learning Krav Maga pressure tests, along with the opportunity to play and learn how to adapt and respond to crazy situations, in a simulated environment. I also appreciated Randy’s psychology, and mindset that he would share a million miles a minute. Literally I don’t think his brain turns off.

Just recently both he and I wrote books, and though the subject matter is different, I am sure there are many overlapping principles at the core. Ultimately the best fight you can have and survive is the one you don’t have.
