River Oaks is a 27-hole full service facility for the green fee player, with accommodations and golf packages available on site. The 18-hole course layout features balanced front and back nines, including two par 3's, si

x par 4's and one par 5. River Oaks South is located across from the 18-hole course with a regulation 9-hole layout. The rolling hills and scenic terrain provide a challenge to any golfer. The South course plays as a par 36, ranging from 2,543 yards (front tees) to 3,113 yards (back tees), giving the players a variety to play 18 holes. River Oaks welcomes golfers of all levels, and offers challenges for everyone. River Oaks features complete facilities, including a putting green, club and cart rentals, a pro shop and a licensed dining room. Special weekend packages are available, and River Oaks has expanded to include a lodge for overnight stays. The club house, meanwhile, offers locker rooms and spacious comfort with a natural pine interior. A wrap around deck outside sports a panoramic view of the lush East Coast countryside. The clubhouse is known for great homemade meals and snacks, check out our extensive menu. The kitchen also caters for corporate tournaments and special events - accommodating groups of 16 to 120. NEW OWNERSHIP COMING SOON!

River Oaks Golf Club first opened back in 1986. Merlin Kerr, or “Bumpy,” as he was affectionately known, started the business from the ground up, creating a place where all three of his children had the opportunity to work with their father and each other, while contributing to the successful family business.

The entire Kerr family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all River Oaks members, both past and present, along with the many staff who have worked at the course over the past 35 years. The club’s accomplishments would not have been possible without you.

River Oaks is more than a golf course to so many people. It has become a pillar in the community and a place where those who visit are welcomed like family. Now, the time has come for the Kerr family to pass along their business and say goodbye to their extended family. Information on the course’s new owner will be shared in the near future. In the meantime, please know, we are confident they will continue to operate the course with the same care and dedication that we have committed to all these years.

Again, we thank you all and look forward to catching up on the 19th hole.
