Several members from MPC had a great day dodging the raindrops at Stonetree supporting the curling club. The cross training experience was super fun for all. What an amazing well organized event. MPC sponsored a hole and donated a paddle for the draw table.

We had a great time last week with 14 awesome budding pickleball stars. Thanks again to Brian Bell for making the trip from Port Elgin and to Ron aka Batman, Laureen, Cheryl, Wendy, Fraser and Kristin for helping out with the fun.

Brian Bell came from Port Elgin with his creative ideas yet again to teach pickleball to 14 lucky kids for the week at our camp. We all had a blast. Thanks to the municipality for partnering with us.

Only a small number of members were hearty enough to brave the rain and cold temps for our annual potluck. One thing is for sure - don't plan anything outdoors on the third Thursday of June - third year straight with bad weather. Great food and conversation was had by those in attendance.

Future pickleball players alert!! Members of the Meaford Skating Club enjoyed an introduction to pickleball today. Their fave part was smashing the balls at Kristin and Chris. Thanks to Coach Kim for bringing them over.

A great time was had by all at the Lion's Head pickleball tournament this weekend and we even had some podium finishes. Congrats to all and thanks to the committee at Lion's Head for throwing a great tourney yet again - such friendly people. What an amazing pickleball community we have.
