Yesterday we snuck down to Calgary.....to do something big!!!
I am so proud of this girl!!! Ryen Freeman 3 years ago this coming fall, you were officially released from from our medical team at The Calgary Children’s Hospital. It was our last stay at The Calgary Ronald McDonald House. That night you talked about wanting to give back and the idea of holding a barrel race was created..... little did we know that your idea and vision would take off like it has!!!
We are so blessed to have so many amazing people supoort this event. The Lea Park ProRodeo Committee, particularly Lloyd Gray and Rick Hozack, have worked their butts off every year to help Ryen have a successful event .....
This year, Mother Nature dropped several inches of rain and for the safety of horses and riders, a quick the decision was made to find another location.
A huge thanks to the Elk Point Ag Society for the use of the outdoor arena. Mary & Colin Balan, thank you so much for taking my very panicked call that Friday morning. You both went above and beyond.
Marty & Pam Bedwell and Chrome Diesel Repair your supoort and use of your tractor and groomer was so appreciated
