Thanks for the article. While we call Martensville curling club our home rink, our home towns are Warman and Hague respectively. We are also cousins, and have been teammates since we were thirteen. We have already been talking about plans for next year to get as ready as we can be for the Games.

We will play the final at 5pm

Our opponents will be determined at a 1pm game and will either be the team we just played (Hannah Lundell/Jax Robson) or Mackenna Bailey/Karstin Soucy.

Ps. We actually play against Karstin every Monday night when he curls with Tyler in the mixed doubles league in Martensville!

We advance to playoffs on Sunday.
We get a practice time on Saturday but have no games to play.
Our Saturday will be watching some of our favorite people compete for their own spots in the playoff bracket.

The ice is being prepped for our 7:30 game vs Loudon Lussier. Winner will go straight to the playoff round.

We are 2-0 so far. Today's game at 12:30 will be another double feature with Tyler and Shawna playing on the sheet right next to us again!

We are in North Battleford for the U20 mixed doubles provincials this weekend.

It is a 17 team, triple knockout format competition. Our first game is Thursday at 7:30pm and our second game will be Friday at 9am.

We will be livestreaming on Facebook.

Ps. With a little imagination, this water tower could have been a curling rock.

A fun event for a great cause!

Come out and support Spirit of Sandra Scholar, Dylan Derksen as he looks to raise funds for the Sandra Schmirler Foundation.

The Sandra Schmirler Foundation is an organization that helps raise funds to purchase life-saving equipment for premature and critically ill babies in Canada.

Dylan will be running a 2-person Sturling bonspiel on Sunday, March 8, at the Martensville Curling Club.

The entry fee is $100 per team; games are 6 ends, and everyone is guaranteed 3 games.

There will be a raffle, 50/50, and a silent auction. Silent auction items will be displayed at the club from March 2-8 for anyone to bid on, and Dylan will be around some of those nights to sell raffle and 50/50 tickets. Silent auction item donations are welcome, as well as monetary donations to the foundation.

We were on the front cover of our local newspaper! That was a nice surprise to come home to.

Our next mixed doubles event will be mid January in Martensville.

Final score was Us 9, them 3 after seven ends and a steal of 2 on their power play.
