5 DAYS TO GO!

Our skates are sharpened, the excitement is building, and the ice is waiting!

We’re just 5 days away from kicking off the 2026-2027 skating season. Whether you're returning for another season or stepping onto the ice for the very first time, we can't wait to see you out there!

See you on the ice in 5 days!

Every skating journey starts with that first step onto the ice.

For some skaters, it’s their very first time on the ice. For others, it’s the next step in building skills they’ll use for years to come. Either way, CanSkate is all about learning, growing and having fun along the way!

Our CanSkate program helps children develop fundamental skating skills through fun games, activities and skill-building exercises in a supportive environment.

Skaters work on three important building blocks:

➡️ BALANCE — forward skating & edges
➡️ CONTROL — stopping & backward skating
➡️ AGILITY — turns, spins & speed

Our NCCP Certified coaches help each skater develop at their own pace, building skills and confidence one step at a time.

Whether they're taking their first steps on the ice or working toward their next skating milestone, every new skill is something to celebrate!

Skate together. Grow together. Shine together.

There’s something special about synchro. It’s not just about learning skating skills, it’s about learning to work as a team, support one another and celebrate every skater’s contribution.

Our STAR 4 & STAR 8 Synchro teams give skaters the opportunity to develop their skating skills while learning formations, transitions and synchronized movements in a fun and encouraging team environment.

Come discover why synchronized skating is one of the fastest-growing disciplines in figure skating! Our teams proudly welcome skaters from across the region, including Martensville, Warman, Delisle, and surrounding communities.

Registration for the 2026–2027 season is now open at skatemartensville.ca!
