On October 1st, 2006, Canadian Community Table Tennis Association (CCTTA) was founded by four table-tennis enthusiasts, and fully supported by Canadian governments at various levels. In addition, CCTTA has been good partners with the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), Table-Tennis Canada and the Ontario Table-Tennis Association. Since 2007, CCTTA has established a permanent home in the City of Markham. There are 43 ITTF certified tables in the well-lit 25,000 square feet international standardized Table Tennis Centre within a modern electrical retractable spectator stand and another manual retractable spectator stand. CCTTA also provides other amenities like advanced showers and professional Tui Na Massage Room, which aims to offer the best service to our members. Since 2006, CCTTA has registered over 1000 members and received thousands of guests and visitors. In order to offer satisfy the demands of different members, CCTTA is open to the public 365 days, 13 hours a day. In addition to making appointments with other members through WeChat Group and Facebook Group, CCTTA also provides professional coaching and accompanying services. To raise the skill level among members, regular weekly in-house competitions were designed. Moreover, CCTTA organized a series of provincial and national tournament in the past years. Several famous athletes worldwide were invited to play, such as Chinese national table tennis players, Canadian national table tennis players, European leading table tennis players, etc. As a non-profit sport association, CCTTA welcomes people of all ages from various ethic groups with different skill levels to play table tennis under one roof. Our primary goals are to promote social harmony and unity, to build friendship among ethical groups, to strengthen personal health and to raise the table-tennis sport to a higher recognizable level. As the increasing number of members, to provide better services and experience of playing table tennis, CCTTA will move to a new modern venue with advanced techniques facilities next year.
