Samantha’s Learn to Swim

Last summer, we hosted such a magical event with The Centre for Dreams. Samantha's Learn to Swim has always supported children on the spectrum, and last summer we joined up with The Centre for Dreams and hosted a fundraiser for them, specifically their programs.

Joanna Gregory- the Program Manager, and two of the members of Centre from Dreams came to the event to show support and have fun with us! Thank you!

A big thank you to our swim instructors who volunteered their time to conduct free lesson through out the events. A thank you also, to Yola, from Calabria Bakery for donating some freshly made treats. Yum! And a thank you for everyone who came out to support!

Hi Neighbours.. swimming in the outdoor air and sunny backyard is a beautiful experience.. .

Samantha's Learn to Swim holds lessons in the privacy of Samantha's backyard. We have been teaching swimming lesson for almost a decade. All instructors are certificate through the Lifesaving Society Board, and go through special training, as well.

Our small classes sizes are 3 swimmers. We also offer private and semi-private classes. (Please inquire about adult and toddler prices, because there is a reduced-fee).

Our prices are modest and why? Because we do not pay to rent out a big indoor swim space.. It is outdoors and is mostly heated by the outdoor sun.

Looking forward to another great summer! These little guys spent time playing with the play-dou and bubbles after their swimming lesson.
There is always refreshments and play-toys out for the swimmers and the mommies and daddies.

I’m proud to share that I have been taken under the wings of, and been employeed by, Growing Minds Toronto Psychology. I work as a behavioural therapist for a few clients, at a private school for exceptional children: Junior Academy. My role is to provide individualized support to these children, and includes: observing, reflecting and implementing strategies to encourage behavioural growth. Some of the skills I exercise are: monitoring and observing an array of behaviour, developing and implementing strategies for growth, discussing and generating ideas with PhD professionals, and creating a space of kindness and trust for the child.

I am a code breaker, an empath, a intellectual, and I am excited to bring this to Samantha’s Learn to Swim, in the summer of 2024.
