Ultimate Fencing Cup RYC Success! 🤺
Axis Fencing Club’s young épée fencers had a fun and memorable outing!
In this Y8 regional competition, our three 8-year-old fencers not only achieved great results but also shared joy and growth throughout the event!
🏆 YANG Stella showed confidence and cheer, earning the gold medal 🥇!
🥈 LEE Isabella stayed steady and reliable, taking the silver medal 🥈!
🎖 CHAO Suri gave her best effort, securing fifth place 🎖!
This competition was an exciting little adventure, but training is their warm and familiar routine.
These lovely young fencers are some of the most energetic members of our club, attending their weekly lessons two to three times without fail. They always encourage each other, train together, and grow side by side. During the competition, they cheered each other on and found joy and friendship on and off the stage.
Fencing is not just about competition but also about the fun of working hard with friends! 🌟 We can’t wait to see them continue to grow, dream big, and enjoy every step of their journey. Axis Fencing Club will always be by their side!

🏆 Andrew Wang Triumphs at the Canadian Cup Cadet Men’s Saber, Fighting Through Injury! 🏅

In an incredible display of resilience and determination, Andrew Wang claimed victory at the Canadian Cup despite suffering an ankle injury during the semifinals. His heroic performance has become the talk of the fencing community! ⚔
After a tough fall that left him with a twisted ankle, Andrew received over ten minutes of on-site medical attention. Everyone thought he would withdraw, but instead, he pushed through the pain. With his ankle bandaged, he returned to the piste and won the match. Even when many spectators and staff urged him to retire to prevent further injury, Andrew made the bold decision to continue competing, showing the true spirit of fencing — never giving up. 💪
His coach encouraged him, saying, ”If your foot can’t give you strength, then use your mind. Win with your technique.“ This is the beauty of fencing, where both physical and mental strength are equally tested. With calm thinking and sharp tactics, Andrew dominated the final with a commanding 15-5 victory, securing the gold medal. 🥇
Congratulations to Andrew for his remarkable achievement and for embodying the spirit of a true champion! 🙌

🇨🇦 Experience the Joy of Fencing on June 6‼️ Noble Sport Enters the Campus 🤺

On June 6th, we welcome all children and parents to join the Fun Fair event at Unionville Public School in Markham, Toronto🥳🥳.

Time: 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM 🤺
📍 300 Main St Unionville, Unionville, ON L3R 2H2

Axis’s fencing coaches and young trainees will be there to share the fun of fencing with everyone!

🔸 Foil demonstration and introduction

🔸 Kids can try fencing on the spot with professional coaches guiding them 🤺
- Come and let your children‘s energy be unleashed✌️
