As we prepare to say our farewells, we wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of you. Maple Ridge has been an incredible chapter in our lives, filled with amazing memories and wonderful people. Your support, kindness, and friendship have meant the world to us, and we'll cherish those moments forever.⁣
⁣
Now, you might be wondering why we're making this move. Well, the cost of living in B.C. has been a real challenge. We've poured our heart and soul into our business, hoping to create a better life for our family. It was the right dream, but we've realized we needed a change of scenery to make it a reality.⁣
⁣
Closing our business wasn't the plan, but sometimes life throws unexpected curves, and you have to adapt. We believe if you are unhappy with your situation instead of complaining about it, do something. Otherwise just let the good times roll.⁣
⁣
What surprised us most was discovering how many people are facing similar struggles. Seems like many are treading water, living on the edge, and playing financial roulette. Mortgages, credit cards, rental & interest rates……⁣
⁣
While we'll miss Maple Ridge dearly, it's time for us to pull up our bootstraps and move forward. We're excited about the new opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.⁣

The Journey to Unforgettable Moments.

Today, I find myself overwhelmed with emotions as I reflect on our first family trip.

It was an experience that filled my heart with joy, gratitude, and an immense sense of love. As I sit here, reminiscing about those precious moments, I am compelled to share my feelings and express my deepest appreciation for the 3 most incredible individuals who have made this journey so meaningful.

To my beautiful and amazing wife, words cannot fully capture the depth of my love and admiration for you. Your unwavering support and belief in me have been a constant source of strength throughout our journey together. You have stood by my side through thick and thin, always ready to lend a helping hand and provide the encouragement I needed.
What sets you apart is your fearlessness in telling me when you're not supportive, pushing me to grow and become a better partner. Your honesty and openness are qualities I cherish, and they have only strengthened the bond we share. Thank you for being my rock, my confidante, and my greatest cheerleader. I am forever grateful to have you by my side.

And then there are my incredible children.
My 7-year-old son, you continue to amaze me with your resilience, determination, and zest for life. You have surpassed all of my expectations and shown me that being a father is the most rewarding job in the world. Your boundless energy, contagious laughter, and unwavering love have enriched my life beyond measure. Watching you grow, explore, and overcome challenges fills me with immense pride. You inspire me to be a better person, and I am grateful for the privilege of being your dad.

And to my fearless and unflinching 3-year-old daughter, you hold a special place in my heart that words cannot fully convey.
Your innocence, curiosity, and pure joy remind me of the beauty and wonder in the world. You have a way of melting my heart with your sweet smile and tender gestures. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is more than just a martial art, it's a way of life. ⁣
⁣
As a practitioner of BJJ, I've learned to embrace discipline, humility, and perseverance. ⁣
⁣
Through the countless hours spent on the mats, I've not only improved my physical health but also my mental strength. ⁣
⁣
The beauty of BJJ lies in its simplicity and effectiveness, allowing a smaller person to overcome a larger opponent through technique and leverage, which as you can imagine is extremely frustrating for me.⁣
⁣
The sense of community and camaraderie within the BJJ community is unparalleled, and the friendships forged on the mats are lifelong. ⁣
⁣
didn’t turn me away because I’ve made mistakes, they embraced me because I am not perfect. ⁣
⁣
Your status, your religious beliefs, your job mean nothing when you step on the mat.

It’s simple show respect when the coach is teaching, and respect will be given to you ten folds.

Weights are my foundation, BJJ is a tool in which I intend to sharpen daily. ⁣

Being submitted daily is a humbling experience, you hate to lose but love to learn.⁣

BJJ has given me the confidence to face challenges both on and off the mats, and for that, I am forever grateful.⁣

Our Albion warriors held off ridge meadows for an incredible hard fought game.
The kids came out, and went straight all gas no brakes!!!
We were down one nothing to come back and win 3 - 2.
These Warriors were incredible and put on a game we will never forgot!!!!!

These kids were inspirational from beginning to end.
I definitely hard a hard time holding back these tears πŸ˜­β€¦

β–ͺ️You should bounce back after pregnancy. ⁣

This was the first time I washed our daughters hair in over a year.⁣
Let me clarify, my wife has been washing Reigns hair since the beginning.⁣
⁣
I took a year hiatus because I hated how much she cried, screamed and played games……..⁣
⁣
Since the wife will be beginning work tomorrow….super pumped!!!!!⁣
⁣
It was my time to embrace the suck…..πŸ˜β€¦β£
⁣
As I walked Reign up the stairs, I was experiencing PTSD…..⁣
I was having hot flashes, ⁣
My ni***es were hurting…⁣
I felt like I had a belly full of popcorn…..⁣
⁣
Here I stand, in front of the bathtub preparing myself for the worst.⁣
I roll up my sleeves inch by inch, fold by fold.⁣
Then I realize, β€œno point getting this shirt soaked.”⁣
⁣
With incredible strength and intensity I slowly remove my shirt and fold it in the corner.⁣
⁣
My voice is trembling, my stare is hazy I cannot wait another second. ⁣
I take a big gulp, and say β€œReign it’s time to wash your hair.” ⁣
⁣
With no hesitation she looks at me, yells at her brother to move out of the way….then the unthinkable happens…..⁣
Without breaking our gaze, she laid on her back, and I was speechless.⁣
⁣
She allowed me to grab my camera and capture a moment I never thought would of happened.⁣
⁣
Then it hit me, my wife put up with all that s**t for years and never complained once.⁣
⁣
Everything I felt, she experienced on the daily.⁣
I never thought how impactful her consistency and resilience would provide me with an unforgettable moment….⁣
⁣
Then I remember….oh yea she bad AF!!!!⁣
⁣
So here’s to my wife and all the other bad AF mothers out there…⁣
⁣
Thank you for putting up with our s**t and our children's s**t…⁣
Because y’all know…⁣
We are not tryna handle that s**t….⁣
