Would you step out?

250 metres above sea level. Glass beneath your feet. The Saanich Inlet below you and Mount Baker, the Gulf Islands and San Juan Islands stretching into the distance.

BCBusiness came to Malahat Skywalk to experience The Overhang for themselves—and discovered that the hardest part might just be taking that first step.

Our newest experience was more than two years in the making, and seeing guests go from “I don't know if I can do this” to grinning inside the glass is exactly why we built it.

Thanks to BCBusiness and Michelle Hopkins for stepping out with us and sharing the experience.
The view was always worth the climb. Now you can step right into it.

It takes some pretty big thinking to build something this high.

And we happen to have some exceptionally talented people behind ours.

A huge congratulations to Adam Ge**er of ASPECT Structural Engineers who has been named one of Canadian Consulting Engineer’s Top 10 Under 40.

Adam and the ASPECT team helped turn some of our biggest ideas into reality, from Malahat SkyWalk itself to The Overhang.

Because creating something unforgettable starts long before anyone takes that first step onto it. It starts with big ideas, clever solutions, plenty of “can we actually do this?” moments, and talented people who find a way to say yes.

We couldn’t be prouder of the team behind the experiences you see today.

Congratulations, Adam. We always knew we had one of the best. Now it’s official. 👏
