Hey there — I’m Stefanie (Stef / Steffi) 👋🏼

I’m a coach based in the mountains of lower Vancouver Island, helping people build strong, resilient bodies through intentional training and recovery. I also train in CrossFit, and it’s played a big role in how I approach strength and consistency.

Honestly, it’s taken me years to figure this out—but I care a lot about helping people not just get stronger, but actually feel better in their bodies. To find some balance between training, life, and time outside.

My approach blends strength work, movement, and contrast therapy—because how you recover matters just as much as how you train. This is what I offer through my 1:1 coaching and small group sessions, combining workouts with sauna and cold plunge for a more complete, supportive experience.

Most days you’ll find me coaching in my private outdoor gym, in the sauna, or making my way into the cold plunge (sometimes all in the same session).

I don’t think training should take over your life. It should support it. Which is why I value slowing down, getting outside, and building something that’s actually sustainable 🌲

On here, I share how I coach, my own strength/functional training, recovery, nature-based wellness, and a bit of day-to-day life.

Evolution: 2017 -> Present Day

I look back at photos of myself and the gym and all the feels come rushing back.  

In 2017 I was starting to come out of the obsessive tendencies of dieting, the scale, being as tiny as possible and just being critical of myself in every way - I have my old powerlifting coaching to thank for that (Thanks Leo!).   

I was also blessed to be able to open my private gym - that changed EVERYTHING!   Being able to coach when and who I wanted really gave me big confidence boost and the energy of all my clients 1:1 & group training - really helped me grow as a human, as a coach and impacted how I wanted to live my life. 

The last 9 years have been unreal:  I was huge into bodybuilding then I competed in power lifting for several years, and then in 2021 I began my journey with CrossFit. 

Fast forward to present day, I still love CrossFit and the challenges it provides but I have also given myself the time to do other things that I love - dirt biking, hiking, being with my boys & family, going back to school for herbalism and most importantly time with myself.

Now:  
I know who the F*** I am 
I know the life I want to live 
I know how I want to show up for my clients 
I know how I want to take care of myself and others

….and most importantly I am the happiest I have ever been. 

Why am I sharing this? 

BECAUSE we all move through multiple evolutions through our lifetime…. I want to remind you that you don’t have to have it all figured out right now.  Stay open to learning, let all the things that feel good into your life, let go of past exceptions, and know that who you are right now is perfect. 

Life is too sort to be constantly chasing the next best thing. Instead, enjoy the ride and slow down enough to notice what is truly important.  I promise you, you won’t regret it.

Life is a series of moments..

…. And too often we are moving too fast towards our “future” plans to actually enjoy what is present.

This weekend was all about enjoying the present moment, being flexible in how I spent my time, and doing what felt good for my mind and body. Zero pressure, no distractions, no beating myself up for not getting in the gym for another workout.

Life moves fast, and I don’t want to be focused too much on the future that I end up missing what is happening now….

….. because it’s SO GOOD. ☺️🤍✨

I continue to be tested, and I continue to say yes….

….. because 2026 is all about trusting myself, trusting my capabilities and truly leaning into my gifts and knowing it will bring me more abundance and real fulfilment.

I have held myself back for so long, and this year I am saying f**k yes to all the things I want to do in the coaching realm…. and the shift has started to gain momentum. Holy sh*t!

It is a BIG reminder that when we align our energy with our true purpose - sparks fly.

Be real
Be intentional
… and BE F*CKING BOLD! ✨🔥🙌🏼
