Inverugie Golf / Club de Golf Inverugie Inverugie is a charming semi-private 9 hole golf course nestled in the hills of Georgeville in the Eastern Townships region of Quebec, Canada.

Inverugie is a par 35, has a rating of 65 for Men and 67.5 for Women and is 2426 yards long. In an era of busy overcrowded corporate golf courses, Wayne and Penelope Mctavish have decided to go in the other direction. Inverugie Golf Club has remained a sanctuary for those less interested in frills and more interested in taking it easy with friends and enjoying the country air. That does not mean t

hat this course is not meticulously maintained by the excellent Team Inverugie has on hand. This family run 9 hole is also not for the faint-hearted. It offers many challenging holes complete with water, sand traps and many other hazards including the odd fox, badger, rabbit or deer to maneuver around. Truly a special and unique course that boasts rich forested areas, sand traps, tennis courts, sprawling fairways with lovely ponds and a magical waterfall.

Thank you to Melodie Prince (ALS Québec) for such a sweet letter. This letter is addressed to me but should be addressed to all of the people who made the Inverugie ALS event happen. Thank you to Jessica Gustafson, Elin Gustafson, Jake Kakebeeke, Cristina Kakebeeke, M.J. Cyr (who made the event an incredible event with her outstanding vocal abilities), Hugh Scott, Tracy, Gustav and Corey Gyarmati-Taylor, Penelope and Wayne McTavish and all the dear friends of Alan and Diane who took part and donated time and/or money. In loving memory of Diane and Alan and all of the other people and families affected by such an insidious disease. Let’s raise more awareness and make even more impact next year!!
